During sleep we do not have any mental and emotiional activity. We go trhough progressive relaxation slowing down of the mind during sleep. It is effortless and automatic.
Yoga Nidra is a deeply relaxing and guided sleep based meditative practice which takes us beyond the active mind into the alpha rhythms of the brain. Yoga Nidra is a body, breath and awareness technique in which you are resting in pure awareness.
Through regular practice Yoga Nidra enables you to effortlessly realize your intentions and achieve a state where your body moves towards self healing.
No Yoga experience is required. This meditation can be practiced lying down or seated in a chair. Just trust the process.
